Remote Africa
Suitable for KS2. The presentation includes an account of my ascent of Nyiragongo, an active volcano in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a visit to the mountain gorillas of Rwanda and Uganda and remote tribes in Southern Ethiopia.

Endangered Animals
Suitable for KS2. I talk about elephants and rhino, including the last two northern white rhino on the planet. This presentation also includes an account of tracking African wild dogs. I will mention the reasons why these animals are now endangered and what we are doing to help protect them.

Suitable for KS2. This presentation describes the Ugly Five (wildebeest, warthog, vultures, storks and hyena) made famous by Julia Donaldson’s book. I will explain why they are so important for the ecosystem.
This Wonderful World
Suitable for KS1. Based on the Big Five (elephant, rhino, lion, leopard & buffalo) plus some other animals, this talk introduces younger children to some of Africa's carnivores and herbivores. An additional short talk about life in rural East Africa is also available.
The rainforests of Borneo
Suitable for KS2. This presentation describes my visit to the rainforests of Borneo to photograph endangered orangutan, Borneo sun bears, pygmy elephants and proboscis monkeys.
